ULP Fiber-Optic Probes

Fiber-optic Probes are available in a variety of aperture sizes (large aperture, small aperture), lengths, and cable types to meet the exact requirements of your LED test. After selecting a pre-programmed sensor for the desired test and output type, then select a Fiber-optic Probe to cover the physical and mechanical requirements as well as the limitations of your UUT.

Single Probe - Small Aperture

Suitable for most test applications. The best choice for testing closely adjacent LEDs. Small Aperture Fiber-optic Probes are used in different models for testing individual LEDs.

Single - WA

Single Probe - Wide Aperture

Compared to the Small Aperture Fiber-optic Probes, it is possible to record four times the amount of light. This makes it possible to compensate for weak LEDs and unintentional misalignments in the test apparatus. This is the best choice for end products, e.g. illuminated switches or alphanumeric symbols.

Suitable for testing two LEDs sequentially with one sensor. The Fiber-optic Probes are bundled in groups of two per sensor. Accordingly, it is necessary to test sequentially and only one of the two LEDs should light up at the same time. The cost per LED test point will be reduced.

For a finer intensity measurement. It eliminates fluctuations that may occur in the measurement due to inconsistent working distance between the LED and the tip of the Fiber-optic Probe. This sample is placed directly on the luminous surface of the LED.

Single - Rigid

Single Probe - Rigid

Sheathed in stainless steel and without cable. Since there are no flexible parts, mounting clamps for the sensors are not necessary. Available as a normal, rigid (rigid) or even rectangular rigid tip.

Rigid Contacting Tips are also intended for finer intensity measurements. It eliminates fluctuations in the measurement that may occur due to an inconsistent working distance between the LED and the tip of the Fiber-optic Probe. This sample is placed directly on the luminous surface of the LED.
